  1. CREATURE, 2021
    Wood, (3mx2mx1.5m)

A creature inspired by a Latvian folk-tale of an adult son taking his elderly father to the forest to die. The creature is made out of the sledges and sleighs that, in the folk-tale, were used to take elderly people to the forests.
The creature is overlooking the bed of Krišjānis Barons, a Latvian writer who systematized Latvian folk songs and prepared their texts for publication in 'Latvju dainas.'

The performance was commissioned by the Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art for Survival Kit 12 and exhibited at Krišjānis Barons Museum in Riga.
